About Konligo
Konligo – a young VUB spin-off located in Brussels – makes it possible for creative event managers to stand out during events, for themselves and their clients, with creative and adaptable structures.
The stands and tents bring an impressive immersive feeling and are installed very fast (hours instead of days).
Our dream is a zero-waste event sector that does more with less: more resource efficiency, responsible use and material reuse and less impact on the environment.
With our innovative transformable structures, we want to fascinate and inspire you.
To achieve this, we combine creative engineering with the principles of sustainable development. We push structures to another level whilst continuing to strive for resource efficiency, and acting responsibly.
Job description
You are looking for

This is what we expect of you:
- An internship of at least 3 months (we prefer and favor 6 months)
- Product/production development of new/existing components and structures: from creative concept thinking to prototyping
- 3D modelling of components and structures
- Developing technical drawings for the machining production
- Performing structural calculations on our structures (not a must, but of added value)
- Hands-on assembly and finishing work of our products and smaller scale models
- Helping with the logistics of delivering at our client’s events
Wanted profile
The job is suitable for technical profiles and/or engineers with an interest in the mechanical aspects of structures. However, we are more interested in your personality, motivation to contribute to the Konligo story and your perseverance to have an impact.
In addition, we seek following competences:
- Interested and experience in construction/mechanical topics
- Interested and experience in product/production development
- Interested and experience in creative brainstorm session and out-of-the-box thinking
- Interested in hands-on assembly and logistics work
- Organized, likes to work independently and takes initiative
