Context of the job

Konligo is a start-up willing to encourage the event industry to its sustainable transition.

To do so, Konligo creates innovative, reusable, fast-to-install and fancy pop-up structures, made in Belgium and with recycled aluminium.

These structures present several advantages. First, the set-up time is reduced from days to minutes depending on the size. Secondly, the qualitive structures have a large life span, encouraging multi- and reuse. Last but not least, the design of the structures is unprecedented and can be customized easily with a fixed frame but altering visuals and decorations.  Check it out for yourself in this video.

We are now eager to let an enthusiastic person join our team, helping us in making Konligo become the leader in sustainable stand and pop-up structures. We are indeed facing some major sales and marketing issues for scaling up, and would therefore like someone to help us take the challenge. Would it be you?

What is the job about

The first two years of Konligo, we mainly focused on optimising and improving the product based on customer and market feedback. This phase is now over. We are currently ready to scale up the production.

Therefore, we have closed a first capital increase of Konligo and would need a brilliant marketing person to help us spread a uniform and strong marketing message and to generate leads and deals. This is where you ship in!

If there is one sentence we want to use to describe the result of your work, then it would: “generating qualified leads for sales meetings, in Belgium and abroad

Your main tasks will be:

  • Improving our website with a uniform marketing message to generate qualified leads.
  • Create and apply a SEO strategy for our website through the use of keywords, blog articles, etc. but also by modifying and optimising our website for a great user experience.
  • Participating in networking events
  • Doing prospection work online and offline and doing warm calling.
  • Reading sector-related press and contacting pro-actively people active in the event sector.
  • Supervising our social media channels, providing timely updates, developing and implementing campaigns, content, graphics
  • Developing materials and interact with our clients in delivering our messages
  • Scheduling sales meetings
  • Planning and executing public events that are linked to our strategic communications objectives
  • Writing and distributing press releases and company newsletters
  • Organising and supervising our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
  • Working with the team to support commercial activities such as presentations, sales materials and event support.

What we are looking for

It is always better to come to the office and see your colleagues smiling!

So we are looking for someone optimistic and enthusiastic but also:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing, sales and/or the event sector
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Google analytics, SEO, social media.
  • with good French, Dutch and English (writing, reading and speaking) level
  • motivated and curious
  • well organized and flexible
  • capable of working well in a team
  • independent and pro-active
  • confident
  • who dares to give his or her opinion and dares to challenge
  • interested in sustainability
